On 1st January 2010 I started out from Buenos Aires, Argentina to ride 9000km in 17 days to Chile and back again, crossing some of the most spectacular and inhospitable terrain in the world when I fulfill a life long dream to compete in the DAKAR RALLY.

Unfortunately I crashed heavily on day 6 and had to pull out of the race with a broken collar bone. Read  My Dakar Diaries for the full story including videos and pictures.

This will not be the end of me and the Dakar and I am already making plans for 2011. Follow me though-out the year as I compete in other rallies and keep updated with my thoughts and experiences on 'twitter'. www.twitter.com/neridoesdakar

The Dakar is the 'Mount Everest' of adventure motorcycling. The ultimate test of man and machine, pushing physical and mental endurance to the limits.

Come along with me for the ride of a lifetime.
